The new store in the Central Business District will introduce unique, convenient services catered to the busy professionals and business travellers.
UNIQLO Singapore has opened doors at its newest store located at Raffles City on 14 October 2022. Due to its strategic location in the heart of nearby offices and hotels, the store will focus on providing everyday apparel needs for working adults and travellers through an introduction of new services to make shopping in-stores for LifeWear easier. This brings UNIQLO Singapore’s local store count to 27, with one more store added to the Central Business District to make shopping more convenient.
Commenting on the opening of the new store, and its dedicated focus on travellers and busy professionals, Joey Tong, Store Development Director, UNIQLO Singapore said, “At all our UNIQLO stores, our focus is always to ensure that LifeWear is made for all through providing our customers with greater convenience and accessibility. As we welcome visitors through our reopened borders, we’ve identified and incorporated new services that make shopping at UNIQLO a breeze while leveraging the mall’s location within the arts, heritage and design district where tourists frequent, such as a hotel concierge delivery for those staying in the area. Busy professionals working in offices near the precinct will also see their shopping needs met with enhanced fitting room services and style advisors. With these new services, we hope to elevate the shopping experience to make it more seamless for all.”
Fuss–free shopping for busy professionals
The Raffles City store will cater to working individuals to provide styling advice and accessories to make shopping for workwear a breeze. StyleHint staff will be on ground to serve as style advisors for those looking for appropriate outfits for business travel, and office wear to make matching and styling outfits simpler for shoppers. There will also be a feature wall showcasing the latest workwear stylings on StyleHint by our style advisors to offer work style inspiration. That’s not all! Selected reviews and testimonials for popular items from our local community of shoppers will be featured for customers to have a clearer idea of the products and a pleasant shopping experience.
New additions to fitting rooms include work bags and shoes placed outside to get a quick visualisation of one’s new work fit, as well as face-covers to prevent smudging and stains from make-up. The Raffles City store will also provide steam ironing services introduced for newly purchased UNIQLO items in Raffles City Store to help busy professionals straighten their workwear before heading off to their next business meeting at no additional cost.
Making shopping easier for travellers
In addition to busy professionals, the store is also dedicated to travellers on short and long-term visits to Singapore, and will introduce two new services that will provide greater ease when shopping at the upcoming UNIQLO store.
- With the mall’s location within the vicinity of hotels in City Hall, travellers residing at Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford can utilise the brand new concierge delivery service when they make purchases at UNIQLO. Arrangements can be made in- stores to have purchases delivered to their hotel rooms to free up their hands as they continue their trip around Singapore.
- The service will be exclusively available at the Raffles City store and will be available to tourists with no minimum spend. Shoppers’ hotel room card and details will be required to be presented in-stores for arrangements to be made with the respective hotel’s concierge thereafter.
- Free taxi services will also be provided for the first 100 monthly tourists who spend a minimum of $150 at the Raffles City Store. Tourists will be able to redeem a physical voucher worth $20 for their rides from Raffles City Shopping Centre. This is exclusively available for Comfort Taxi only.
