Upcoming Movies and Shows in September not to be Missed

The month of September has a wide range of shows and movies coming out, some big names and some that are not spoken of. For those in need of something to watch in their free-time, here are my top 5 Movies and Shows to watch this September:

  1. Don’t Worry Darling

This upcoming psychological thriller has a star-studded cast with Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Florence Pugh, and Olivia Wilde all appearing in the movie. This movie has gained a lot of attention due to the charming main duo, Harry Styles and Florence Pugh, as their excitement to see the chemistry the pair has for one another shows in the movie. The plot for the movie has also been kept a secret, leaving the public in the dark, letting the suspense build up for the release of the movie. ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ premieres in September 2022 in theatres so be sure to check it out if you are one for the mystery romance films.

  1. Get Smart with Money

‘Get Smart With Money’ is a documentary where 4 financial experts share their advice to people willing to make a change to change their ‘money mindset’. This documentary will benefit whoever watches it as it goes through tips, tricks, and ways to live richer lives while still on the saving money. This show could be helpful for an adult struggling to save money or a young teenager struggling to earn money. It came out on September 6th so give this documentary series a chance if you are in peril with how your cash flows.

  1. Moonage Daydream

After the success of Elvis, and for those who want to watch another film about another pop icon, Moonage Daydream is the film for you. It follows music legend, Bowie, on his journey to stardom and uses unreleased footage about Bowie. It is more of a documentary-type film and was narrated, by Bowie himself. On September 16, be prepared to witness Bowie on the main stage once again!

  1. Thai Cave Rescue

This upcoming limited time Netflix series is about the tragic events that happened in 2018 where a junior football team and their assistant coach got stuck in a cave in Northern Thailand. According to Netflix, this series provides a “a deeper dive into this incredible rescue mission”. The dramatization recount of the events that happened those few weeks will be shown in detail during this miniseries. This show comes out on September 22 and for a limited time on Netflix so be sure to keep an eye out.

  1. See How They Run

‘See How They Run’ is a comedy, mystery, crime film set in 1950s London. It is a ‘whodunnit’ type film that follows the experienced inspector and his eager partner on their path to solve the case. It has a great cast with impressive cinematography that can be seen in the trailer. For all the mystery film lovers I recommend this film highly, especially if movies such as ‘Death on the Nile’ or ‘Knives Out’ are your type of films. This movie comes out on 29 September in theatres.
