This October, the Danish soft rock group Michael Learns To Rock is set to perform in Singapore.
The Danish trio—Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz, and Kre Wanscher—will perform in Singapore for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic as part of their BACK ON THE ROAD international tour in 2022. On 24 October, 8pm, it will take place at the Star Performing Arts Center. The general public can purchase tickets on the SISTIC website starting on 4 August, 10am local time for SGD88 and up.
Their self-titled debut album produced the number-one hit single “The Actor” in 1991. With the help of numerous singles including “That’s Why You Go Away,” “Take Me To Your Heart,” and “25 Minutes,” the band went on to sell more than 11 million physical albums and 6 million downloads.
The group’s most recent release was their ninth studio album, “Still,” which came out in March 2018. It was also their last appearance in Singapore when they were promoting the album.
