Tesla today unveiled 2 new awesome cars, each with unique features of its own, right smack in the middle of ION Orchard’s Level One Atrium. The Model Y comes with Tesla’s highly sophisticated Autopilot semi-autonomous driving system as standard equipment. Optional additional sophisticated capabilities include a self-parking feature and a summon feature.

Model Y is the best-selling all electric SUV in the world and one of the safest cars on the road with perfect 5-star ratings from NHTSA. Designed and built as Tesla’s first mass-market sports utility electric vehicle. It is a critical step in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy, as laid out in the original Tesla Master Plan.
Like every Tesla vehicle, Model Y combines range, performance, safety and technology. Being a mid-size SUV, Model Y has over 2100 litres cargo space which provides versatile seating and storage for up to 5 passengers with their belongings. With the ultra-responsive motors, it takes just 3.7 seconds for Model Y to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h with a range of up to 514km (WLTP) per charge. Model Y comes with all-glass roof, autopilot, active safety features and HEPA air filtration system.
Starting at SG$142,471 and SG$190,195 (included all EV incentive but exclusive of COE), both the Model Y(RWD) and Model Y Performance will begin delivery in August 2022 in Singapore.
As part of Tesla’s commitment to Singapore, Tesla will further develop its sales, after-sales service and charging infrastructure in the country to provide a convenient and seamless Tesla ownership experience. As of today, Tesla has opened and operated 8 V3 Supercharging stations in Singapore with 24 Superchargers, covering all popular destinations. With V3 Supercharging, a Model Y Performance, operating at peak efficiency of 250kW can charge up to 120km in just 5 minutes.
